The 19th Annual Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference (MPGC 2011) will now be held from October 2 to 4, 2011 in Dubai, UAE, under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with The Emirates National Oil Company Limited (ENOC) LLC as hosts.
In the aftermath of the unrest in the region, the ease of travel and convenience of all participants have been the main objectives in setting the new timing and venue for the 19th Annual Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference (MPGC 2011), taking into account key events on the international oil industry calendar, and seasonal fluctuations due to summer and other holidays in the region. MPGC 2011 is thus on track, to be held on its annual scale and extent and provide an optimal environment for information exchange and networking that are its hallmarks.
Given that the oil markets are facing their greatest uncertainty in more than a decade, the theme of the MPGC agenda has been revised to “High Oil Prices, Political Crises & Emergence of a New Market Structure” with discussions updated to address the emerging trends and developments in the aftermath of unrest in the region, in an environment that is often confusing and challenging.
