Carbon World Doha 2009

Carbon World Doha 2009, held under the patronage of H.E. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Deputy Premier, Minister of Energy & Industry and Chairman of Qatar Petroleum, will showcase Qatar's CO2 emissions reduction initiatives designed to move it toward an ecologically friendly low carbon economic model. Organized by the Centre for Management Technology (CMT) with the support of Qatar Petroleum on April 26-28 in Doha, Qatar, CarbonWorld will highlight Qatar's emerging government-industry symbiosis to reduce carbon dioxide emissions as well as address key issues in Qatar's evolving carbon market. Discussions will include gas flaring reduction initiatives, carbon storage and Ehanced Oil Recovery.
