4th International Petroleum Technology Conference 2009 IPTC

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, the fourth International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC), will take place 7–9 December 2009 at the Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel, Doha Qatar. IPTC with its theme “World Energy Challenges: Endurance and Commitment,” is a collaborative effort among the American Association of Petroleum Geologists; the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers; the Gas Processing Association; the Society of Exploration Geophysicists; and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. The event is endorsed and supported by International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), International Gas Union (IGU), Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), Qatar Geological Society (QGS), and Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE), making it a must-attend event. IPTC offers a unique overall programme, including multidisciplinary technical programme, multi-sector exhibition, education day, education week, young professional workshop, technical field trips, IPTC awards ceremony and networking sessions.
