The Qatar Alternative Energy Investors Summit 2010, hosted by naseba in association with the International Solar Energy Society – Arab Chapter, EDAMA association and the International Geothermal Association, will gather high level investors, government officials, key associations and representatives from public and private sectors around the world, each pre-qualified for their knowledge and investment expertise in alterative energy projects.
The summit will provide a strategic platform for governments and businesses to work together to make energy efficiency a priority and turn climate challenges into opportunities.
Using a four-pillar strategy the summit’s agenda will cover key information needed by investors for successful alternative energy integration. These include:
Government: Regulations, incentives and support.
Knowledge: Research and development, industry leadership and management.
Finance: Investment vehicles, debt financing, capital markets and private equity.
Commercialisation: Viable business plans and exit strategies.
By focusing on the four pillars, investors should have a clearer picture of the investment landscape.
The format of the Summit is more exclusive than most events; this is because the summit is by private invite only and designed around investor’s feedback in the Alternative Energy Sector. Therefore all discussion at the event will have Q&A sessions, interaction with the panel speakers and importantly, we have allocated private meeting areas for attendees to discuss opportunities. We also have 5 star networking breakfasts, lunches and coffee areas aligned to the requirements of the attendees.
