Manager/Controller

Responsibilities:

· Appoint personnel to perform services under the contract
· Procure materials and equipment to perform the services
· Manage and plan the equipment and personnel to effectively carry out a road safety monitoring activities
· Ensure that Contractual commitments are fully complied with, such as HSE, Quality and Reporting requirements
· Administer the contract, including invoicing, planning and scheduling, and adherence to Company (PDO – Petroleum Development Oman) procedures
· Liaise with the Company Contract Holder
· Ensure tht specific administration tasks detailed in the scopes of work (Road Safety Monitoring, Road Traffic Accident investigation, workshop and vehicle inspection, etc.) are delivered complete and in a timely manner
· Providing road safety presentation at Interior and Coastal locations, attending Transport and Driver Forums, and Drive to Survive meetings.
· Developing road safety awareness/ briefing packages targeted towards drivers and drivers supervisors, vehicles and roads.

· Conduct routine HSE inspections & audits of rig move plans, vehicle roadworthiness, driver competency, load safety, journey management, dangerous goods transport, & other activities.
· Undertake and assist in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) investigations and reporting processes.
· Facilitate and support Job Hazard Analysis, risk assessments & provide advice on controls.
