Log Data Specialist

my responsibility was to build and populate the LogDB database.In addition to that,I was responsible for the overall project implementation and I have ample experience in project management. I also have extensive experience with Finder and GeoFrame.

Prepares the new logs data on GeoFrame for in-house interpretation. Verifies the logs data, logs header information and check the logs curves quality. Imports the log data to Log database catalogue the logs ensuring that the quality of the log curves remained the same. Verifies, validate and QC data loaded into Finder from ADNOC Data Base. Depth shifts and splices log data before entering Finder. Control and managed Restoring data by giving access to different users to the restored data whenever it is needed. Create and manage LogDB user’s accounts. Perform OFDB, RDB & LogDB Metabase integrity check. Perform OFDB & LogDB merging process. Manage LogDB Web Browser. Provide workflow to move data from LogDB to GeoFrame. Loads interpreted logs and environmentally corrected logging curves from GeoFrame to the Finder and LogDB after discussion with Petrophysics. Frequent contacts with the Petrophysics to maintain the LogDB and Finder current and to prepare log data for in house interpretation. Contacts the Operation Geologist to obtain well survey data for loading on Finder. Reporting to Data Management Co-coordinator and receives work directions from the Petrophysics and Data Management Co-coordinator
