Job Application

My Objective : -To work and specialize in one of the aspects of Petroleum Industry (E.g. Production Engineer, Mud and Drilling Fluids Engineer , Wire line Logging, Cementing , Casing and Drilling Engineer, Geologist etc)

Years 1999-2000: I have 2 years of experience in wireline logging. When I graduate from secondary school I joined to local Petroleum Service company (Balkanneft Geophysics) as a wireline operator for 1 year. During this time I had an experience on familiarizing with logging tools, cleaning and inspection of them. I also worked under sonda lab which monitors checking of logging tools before and after the job. Balkanneft Geophysics are working together with company Schlumberger.
At year 2000 as my secondary school results were good I got scholarship from my government to study University. Then I joined to University Technology Petronas majoring in Petroleum Engineering. University duration is 5 years. But in our curriculum we had to go under industrial training experience. Before I go to training I studied core engineering subjects for 3 years.
Years 2003-2004: Schlumberger service company accepted me for the training programme. I joined to the wireline group of Schlumberger, as I had a working experience for 1 year as an operator and have knowledge on logging; I joined as junior wireline engineer to the company. I worked as junior field engineer under senior engineers and principals of logging department. During my training time I was sent to the field at least once a week until completing the programme. I have a work experience in :
1) Borehole logging: Worked with BGT (Borehole Geometry Tool), DLT (Dual Laterelog Tool) and SGT (Scintillation Gamma Ray Tool), able to read and interpret log readings from tools. Also able to analyze mud cake and filtrate properties to key in to DLT log to get resistivity of the formation.
2) Cased and Cemented Well logging: Worked with CET (Cement Evaluation Tool), SDT (Sonic Digital Tool), SGR (Scintillation Gamma Ray) and CCL (Casing Collar Locator), able to read and interpret log readings from these tools.
Besides I have knowledge and experience on calibrating the tools. Basically it is the checking of the tools before job and preparing the log reading for the job.

I have a bachelor's degree on mechanical engineering majoring in Petroleum.
