CONTROL BOARD OPERATOR
-Duties included but not limited:
•Direct work for A, B, C and trainee Operators.
•Work with Maintenance / Facilities Engineering group to schedule and carry out plant and machinery preventative maintenance.
•Figure swing wells shut in and opening. Works with Petroleum engineering group on scheduling wire line work. Supply information on changing condition of wells. Complete morning reports.
•Plan and conduct safety meetings for the group. Controls Plant and respond to upsets utilizing remote data gathering, monitoring and control systems, eg. Honeywell TPS 3050 (DCS).
•Inspect all facility and wells through out area of responsibility to ensure that all operating equipment and wells is been maintained and operated in a correct and safe manner and is in compliance with the company policies and operating procedures and guidelines.
•Performing calibrations, installation and repairs to as required to maintained equipment operations.
•Comply and promote the Permit to Work system, JHA and Risk Assessment with associated work groups.
•Assist co workers, sharing ideas and knowledge to complete a given task, prepare and plan upcoming activities for major jobs like shut down, repair works etc.
•Train and assist trainee Process Technician on basic plant and field operations.
REFINERY OPERATOR/FIELD/PLANT PRODUCTION OPERATOR
-Duties included but not limited;
Conduct well testing and plant data gathering.
•Fill out required forms. Prepare chemical pumps for operation. Placing wells in and out of test.
•Perform routine maintenance on pumps, valves, chokes and other basic equipment in the field and plant.
•Installed, remove blind flange and skillet in production piping. Clean vessel and prepare vessel for inspection.
•Ensure that field, plant and office are in good house keeping condition. Open and close well, monitoring pressures, flow rates or production quality, clean sumps , vessels and tanks, minor repairs to process equipments.
•Operator Product loading rack, residuum and naphtha return systems. Align field gathering system to optimize flow rates.
•Assigned to other work departments to broaden overall job knowledge and process understanding.

• Construction and Commissioning experience
-05 August 2004 with Oil Search Limited- Shut down process plant for extension of Moran Project, installed new tie in point to allow for flowing of a new production well
-27 June 2002 with Chevron Texaco - Part of production team in writing up procedure for total APF plant shut down, cleaning and inspection of operating process vessel, start up and commissioning of plant.
-April to October 2002- with Chevron Texaco -Involved in construction and commissioning of Agogo Moran Full field development extension, played a major part in plant commissioning ,working with engineering, maintenance, subsurface team testing, experimenting process controls system, safety system, instrumentation and mechanical system, gas compression, power generation system for the plant and production , re injection well system .
-November 1998-with Chevron Texaco- involved with commissioning and flowing of production well MX 1 and MX2 in the Moran Project
