Senior Reservoir Engineer, PVT-Analysis Supervisor

Job related to my experiances and educations as oil production engineer and senior Fluid Phase Behavior Specialist. PVT-Analysis Supervisor.

1- In 1985 started with Zuitina Oil Company (OXY) in 103A Field as a production engineer until the end of 1992. Responsibilities included:
• Controlling the flow of hydrocarbons (natural production) from the
reservoir/well bore interface through the production system, to the point
of sale.
• Report and record the daily production volumes of oil and gas.
• Checking the conditions of the oil wells in the field.

2- I have 14 years experience in reservoir fluid analysis in Libyan petroleum institute in the PVT-Lab. I am responsible for conducting a complete PVT-Study for reservoir oil and gas condensate samples (Bottom hole & Recombined) into a PVT-Cell at required temperature and pressures as the following: -

• Black Oil studies, Condensate studies.
• High pressure and temperature analysis up to 20,000 psi and 350F.
• Compositional analyses to C-36+.
• Constant composition expansion with relative volumes.
• Viscosity measurements using Rolling Ball viscometer.
• Differential liberation (black oil) or constant volume depletion
(condensates).
• Density and composition of residual fluids.
• Slim Tube testing is performed to measure the MMC using LPG & DG solvent
and MMP using Co2 to yield the highest recovery of hydrocarbons.

I am graduated from El-Fateh University in Tripoli-Libya on April 1983 with a B.S.degree as a petroleum engineer.

week, in March 2004.
• (PVT and Phase Behavior of Petroleum Reservoir Fluids) with HERIOT- WATT
UNIVERSITY-Edinburgh Scotland for one week,, in June 2004.
• (Report Writing Techniques in English) with National oil Corporation
Tripoli, Libya for one week in August 2003.
• (Core flood Applications) with Hycal-Energy Research Lab. LTD. Calgary-
Canada for nine months, started in September 1999.
• (Enhanced Oil Recovery) with National oil Corporation Tripoli, Libya for
one week in December 1998.
• (Advanced Reservoir Engineering) with National oil Corporation Tripoli,
Libya for two week in November 1996.
• (Gas Condensate Reservoirs) with Hot Engineering London, United Kingdom
for one week in August 1995.

I worked as an instructor for new hiring engineers with National Oil Corporation for (Reservoir Fluid Properties Study, Experimental and Analysis) one week course , its contents are:-

• Introduction to types of reservoirs.
• Reservoir fluid properties.
• Fluid sampling techniques.
• Studying of black oil and gas-condensate samples.
• Empirical correlations for oil properties.
• Miscible displacement process.
