ENGINEER - MANAGER INSTRUMENTATION

Seeking a technical management position with leadership responsibilities including problem solving, planning, organizing and managing budgets to achieve the corporate goals.

A growth-oriented and highly talented Engineering Manager/Engineer with a strong background in detail engineering, procurement and construction of projects in oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, & infrastructure industries. Demonstrated superior technical knowledge of engineering discipline(s) e.g.,Process,Piping,Mechanical,Eletrical,Communication and specifically Instrumentation and control.
Excellent staff management skills. Established technical procedures and guidelines for engineering and design activities.
Recognized as specialist in Instrumentation engineering field on large to mega projects.

Job Skills:

• Oversees multiple Instrumentation leads across multiple projects (typically within one or more business units).
• Provides technical oversight, staffing coordination, business unit proposal support, mentoring / development of entry level personnel, and general department coordination.
• Responsible for overall project management including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up / commissioning and contract closeout.
• Ensure that the project is appropriately resourced
• Prepare and supervise budgets and schedules, monitor progress and initiate action to assure schedules are met and work is performed within budget
• Manage the Client’s business interests, to include the prime contract, revenues, receivables, project viability and profitability
• Manage the project to meet the Owner’s objectives and expectations
• Maintain communications with key stakeholders and keep them up to date on project progress
• Actively promote behaviour aligned to the Client’s goal of achieving a Total Safety Culture.
• Ensure quality checks are undertaken and documented
