I have the experience of eight months of being a Rig Asst. Mechanical Engineer, which gave me the ability to get to know almost all the equipment and tools on board of the Rig like:
o1 Air winches, motors, and most of the air operated systems
o2 Water centrifugal pumps, and pipe line
o3 Caterpillar 3516 internal combustion engines (preventive maintenance)
I had also the benefit of working with Danish, Dutch, american and Scottish supervisors, which enhanced my language and also made me more open minded about working with people from different cultures.
