I have extensive experience in Marine Engineering environments and after 27 years in the Royal Australian Navy have strong team work and workplace tolerance values. I am an accredited Safety Management Systems Lead Auditor with QASRAB International and a Registered Hazardous Substances Safety Officer in the Australian Defence Organisation.

I currently provide Senior Management of the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) with advice and guidance in regards to their duties and responsibilities in Occupational Health and Safety and conduct annual Safety Management Systems audits of DMO units culminating in an annual report to the DMO executive.
I am an accredited Safety Management Systems Lead Auditor with QASRAB International and a Australian Defence Organisation Hazardous Substance Safety officer.

DMO Group Safety Coordinator.
Responsibilities: Responsible to the Director Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) for workplace health and safety and wellbeing of personnel.
Achievements. Produced the DMO 2005 Annual OHS Report for the DMO CEO. Developed and Implemented the DMO OHS audit program and conducted OHS audits for that program. Assisted in the Development of the WHS team business plan with clear outcomes and clarity of responsibilities. Assisted DWHS in positioning the DMO to accommodate requirements of the Defence OHS strategic plan and helped revise the CEO OHS policy statement to reflect future directions. Developed and implemented OHS processes and incorporated into the DMO Quality Environmental Management System.
