I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with concentration in Industrial Chemistry. The courses I covered can be divided into three groups (Core Curriculum - Concentration chemistry courses- specialization chemistry courses)
Core curriculum is simply a foundation of general education in the natural science, social sciences, and humanities. The objective of the B.S. Chemistry Major Concentration courses is to train students in both the theory and the practice of the major branches of chemistry (organic, physical, analytical, and inorganic)
The specialization in industrial chemistry covers selected topics in some industries (pharmaceuticals- chemical intermediates – thermodynamics applications in industry – quality control regulations &certificates)
