I am an Egyptian Lawyer, I’m working now for one of the biggest Law Firm in Egypt, I have been working as the Legal Advisor to one the Minister’s in Oman. Since 1991, I worked in the field of petroleum agreements, previously with SAMAREC (Saudi Arabian Marketing and Refining Company), Saudi Aramco and EGPC. I participated in the preparing the bids documents and participated in negotiation and execution of twenty five production sharing agreements, concession agreements and their amendments, ten gas sales agreements, five seismic survey contracts and a number of dispute settlements. Such negotiations were conducted with leading petroleum companies and corporations such as Amoco Corp. (BP after merging), BG, Shell, Apache Corp., Mobil, Repsol, IEOC (branch of AGIP in Egypt) and others.
