Panel Operator-Gas Plant - Ethylene

To keep working in petrochemical plant operation and using knoledge I gained of years of experience

Since January 1989 to September 2007 I was working as a DCS Panel Operator (Process) TDC 3000 –(HONEYWELL)- in Gas Separation / Gas Production Section in Ethylene Gas Plant (Cryogenic / Cold Section) of IPCL-Reliance Group of Industries.Responsibale for safe & efficient operation of the area assigned, safe start up/shutdown/emergency operation.
Gas Separating Are: Methane, (Liquefied Natural Gas), Ethane, Hydrogen, Ethylene, Ethane, Propylene, Propane, Mix C 4 S, and Py.Gasolene.

I have worked in all the area of the gas plant like gas compression, gas dehydration, gas chilling & liquefaction & feed separation area, refrigeration compressors area (C2R & C3R ), acid gas removal tower section, cold and hot fractionation, fired heaters operations.

I have worked in safe & efficient operation of following area from control room & field.
- Multistage Gas Compression- Steam Turbine Driven -Dresser Clarke Discharge Pressure 37 Kg/Cm2
- Multistage Refrigeration Compression (Ethylene & Propylene - Total 7 Stages) / Cryogenic
(+15° C to -160° C) Turbine Driven
- Methane Compression-Electrical Motor Driven
- Acid Gas Removal
- Dehydration, Chill-down train & cold fractionation i.E. Fractionators tower, reboiler, reflux, reflux condenser / accumulator (including MAPD & Acetylene converters)
-De-Butaniser (LPG Recovery) and Propylene Fractionator.
- Hot fractionation & Naphtha Cracking Furnace Operation, 3-Phase Separation
Knowledge of Vapor Pressure, API Gravity, J.T. Effect, Inter-phase Level.
Well conversant with Gas Dehydration, Gas Treatment system by chilling and glycol injection.
I have gained safe petrochemical plant operations experience both in Control Room-Panel Operation-
Dcs (honeywell Tdc-3000) and in field operations and I have handled safe Responsible for start up and shutdown and emergency operation and isolations, participation in annual shutdown activities. Whenever required for inspection, I climb to dist. Columns.
Responsible for sample collection & noting laboratory results, maintaining log sheet & logs. Conversant with SOP, Conversant with issue of work permit (Hot & Cold)., and aptitude for maintenance.
