Instrument/Electrical Engineer and Alternate Resident Engineer for the Downstream Pipelines and Pump Stations of Melut Basin Oil Development Project of PDOC, OGP Downstream Pipelines project consist of 1370 kms of crude oil export pipeline, six pump stations, scraper trap facilities, 29 block valve stations, ESD system, Cathodic Protection system, Solar Panels for remote location power supplies and a Marine Terminal. Work includes detailed engineering review/comments and acceptance, Vendor offered equipment/instrumentation review/comments and acceptance.
Instrumentation and Process Control Design Engineer Design Unit for the detailed engineering preparation of projects related to the replacements, modifications, new works and upgrade design requests for the Oil and Gas- Onshore and Offshore Operations and Production Facilities. Detailed engineering preparations include sizing and specifications, construction drawings and details, material-take off, budget cost estimate, scope of work, site surveys, vendor selection, coordination with Operation/Production Engineers and Discipline Design Engineers. Project designs include process control and instrumentation for Test Barges and Oil and Gas Facilities including ESD, DCS, Fire and Gas detection systems, PLC, Machinery Protection and Surge Control among others. Work also includes design supervision, coordination and QA/QC for design packages done by Saudi ARAMCO Design Engineering Contractors. Involved with the works related to the installation, calibration, cabling and terminations, punch listing and acceptance of systems and loops instrumentation for the Common Facilities and Offsites of the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Facilities by the Joint Venture of Technip, Snamprogetti, Kellogg and Japan Gas Corporation.

I have done site surveys, modification and revamps designs, troubleshooting, new work and upgrades and capital projects from conceptual design up to commissioning. I have designed and installed Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electronic ESD systems, Fire and Gas systems, DCS, Safety systems, PLC and Process Control Instrumentation using Honeywell, Triconex, Allen Bradley, Rosemount, Yokogawa and Fisher among other instruments and controls.
