•compute and record well test data
•well head equipment inspection
•supervise hot oil and pressure trucks
•examine oil lines for leaks, hydrates or wax plugging
•maintain equipment and trouble-shoot problems
•isolate part of a system for inspection, repair and cleaning
•report abnormal things to the head responsible.
•obtain samples/ analysis •add chemicals to the unit
•monitoring production and running diagnostics on well performance
•scheduling and supervising down hole wire line dew axing programs on flowing oil wells
•Identifying failed equipment and reporting the replacement parts needed.
*Note on test report the producer’s PSH and PSL safety device set points.
*Check due point (dry system only).
*Check gas/liquid gravity (where applicable).
*Monitor production equipment for proper operation.
*Grab liquid sample for quality inspection (on site visual inspection).
*Grab a gas sample.
*Test and maintain flow control valves.
