Project ,Construction,Civil,Planning Engineer

To be successfull in my compny

• Working for (DSD-Ferrometalco.- Egypt - Owned by MAN Group - based in Germany) a company
specialized in Engineering, Manufacturing & Construction of High Quality Steel Structures as a Project Engineer since 1/9/2004. My responsibilities include :
-Controlling project plan & recommending actions by studying contract, design, drawings, specifications & other technical documents.
-Preparing the project schedule and modifying it according to job priorities.
-Following diff. structures manufacturing (PEB’s, Towers, Bridges, Boilers, Vessels...etc)
-Material Procurement and engineering requisitions follow up.
-Assisting the Project Manager in planning, supervising and controlling the execution of technical & administrative requirements of the project.
-Issuing & Monitoring technical documents and reports about the project(s) status like (progress reports, cost control reports, painting systems, shipping, labour hours control…etc)
-Coordination between different departments (Procurement, Welding, Fabrication, Q.C., Technical Office, Logistics ...etc) to resolve problems that might occur to ensure tasks implementation in accordance with schedule requirements.
-Constant contact with the client and consultant inspectors and transferring their requirements to the workshop.
-Maintaining relevant site feedback to ensure smooth erection activities.

• Working for 4 months in (Al Mokattam Co. for Housing & Contracting) as a full duty Construction Engineer in the erection of the new recycling line owned by ONYX Environmental Services (based in France.). My responsibilities included :
-Calculation of material quantities required for the whole project.
-Execution of the concrete footings, electricity lines & other concrete works.
-Execution of all surveying works in the site.
-Supervision on the erection of the steel structure.

• Working for 3 months in a (Structural Consultant Engineering Office) as a Structural Engineer in modeling high-rise buildings (sent from Florida-USA) using ETABS, Autocad & Excel.

• Working for 2 months in (El-Ebour Co. for Estate Investment) as a full duty Civil Engineer in concrete execution and drawing architectural units.

• High School Certificate : British I.G.C.S.E with distinction (Honors).
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Grade = 567
• University Degree : BSCE in Civil Engineering (Structural Division) - AinShams University (June 2003).
? Accumulative Grade : Good.
? Final Year Grade : V.Good.
? Project Grade (Steel Structures) : Excellent.
? Project Description : Complete design and full detailed drawings of a Multiuse steel factory with several capacity cranes and mezzanines including truss, portal frames and chillers.
• Professional Certificate in Management of Project Resources from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
• Professional Certificate in Project Contracts & Bids from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
• Preparing for the PMP Certification by the Project Management Institute, Pennsylvania, USA.
