I have held positions in the industry for over 20 years, starting as an apprentice mechanic up to management. I have always remained in the service sector of the industry as it provided the most interesting challenges and satisfaction.
The bulk of my experiences were gained while performing duties as a field service technician.
As a field service technician I was responsible for performing services tasks in remote field locations. Along with service tasks additional responsibilities are placed on field staff such as; establishing and maintaining customer relations, presenting yourself and the company in a professional manner and performing all tasks safely, timely and with the highest quality.
From 1998 I held the position of senior field service technician in addition to being responsible for special projects. My duties included; major project supervision and direction, special technologies projects, trouble shooting of severe failures and destruction, international start-up commissioning.
I established Gas Compression Technologies in 2001 to provide a service outlet in Central Europe, concentrating on local customers with specialized technology for underground storage injection compressors, in addition to full services for the compression industry.
I have held positions at firms such as:
PAMCO (a division of Enerflex systems) 1983-93 Field service technician

Additional Information
A wide range of challenges and experiences has always been my attraction to this industry. Whether it be working in solitude on a remote arctic location, or part of a multi-worker team performing overhaul services on a 24 hour shift rotation. And now most recently working and living in Europe gives me new experiences and challenges in both my professional and personal life.
My most recent project was managing a flare gas re-injection facility in Algeria. I was responsible to staff the project and provide technical support while managing the daily operations. The project achieved and maintained over 97% availability.
My knowledge and experience have been called upon to assist in solving a multitude of problems. Tasks such as; total loss claims of fire/explosions, catastrophic equipment failures and even little “ghost bugs” have been my specialty for many years. Preparing custom tailored programs for maximum availability and scheduling routine maintenances ensures customer satisfaction and reliability.
I enjoy traveling, meeting new people and challenging new projects. My creative forward thinking is a valuable asset for solving even the smallest of challenges in the field or shop. With the knowledge and focus of what IS possible, I have developed excellence in my trade.
I thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I can be contacted at your convenience.
