QA/QC, ASNT NDT Level III, Inspection, Welding and ISO QMS

JOB OBJECTIVE I am having very good knowledge in QA/QC, NDT, Welding, ISO QMS and INSPECTION. My job objective is to work in the same field and in the middle or top management position.

ORGANIZATIONAL EXPERIENCE
1. Stolt Offshore (Former ETPM),

Stolt Offshore is a leading offshore, ISO 9001:2000, EPIC contractor to the oil and gas industry, specializing in technologically sophisticated deepwater engineering, flowline and pipeline lay, construction, inspection and maintenance services. The Company operates in Europe, the Middle East, West Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.
Period - From 2002 To till today
Position held - QA / QC Engineer / Manager.
Currently working in SONAMET (Stolt Offshore+Sonongol consortium) fabrication yard at Angola, African region.
Responsible for the project QA/QC activities through out the project right from kick off meeting to till handing over including final documentation.
Responsibilities:
QA/QC co-ordination with Engineering, Project Managers / Engineers, Fabrication supervisors, Welding department, Material control, Client inspectors and Third party inspectors.
Routine checking of welding consumables, welding machines, welder qualification and welder performance. In process and final inspection of material, cutting, bevelling, fit-up, welding, dimensional control, level and straightness checks.
NDT cross checks, witnessing of NDT operations with client, NDT audit and review of NDT procedures for compliance with code and client specifications. Review on NDT operator qualifications, NDT reports and interpretation of Radiography (RT) films.
Witnessing of pressure / pneumatic test, hydro test, vacuum test and post weld heat treatment.
Familiar with most of the international codes and standards and not limited to the following:
American codes and standards: AWS D1.1, ASTM, ASME (Sec I, II, V, VIII, IX), API, ASME / ANSI (B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8), ASNT SNT-TC-1A and NACE etc.
British codes and standards: BS EN 25817, BS EN 1418 and BS EN 10225 etc.
ISO QMS 9000:2000 etc.
European codes and standards: Norsok M101, M601 and DNV offshore standards etc.
Very good knowledge in cutting and welding of carbon steel (low&alloy), Stainless steel, Duplex, Super duplex and Inconel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
ACADEMIC: BACHELOR DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.

QUALIFICATIONS:
PROFESSIONAL: AWS ?V CWI;
ASNT NDT LEVEL III IN RT, PT, UT AND MT;
ISO QMS AUDITOR / LEAD AUDITOR;
IRCA REGISTERED QMS PROVISIONAL AUDITOR.

1. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT WINDOWS, POWER POINT, VISIO, WORD, EXCEL AND OTHER OFFICE SOFTWARE.
ACHIVEMENTS:
1. Actively involved in ISO QMS 9002 certification for Geyad Co and achieved it;
2. Played as a team leader in Geyad co. for ASME ?¥U?¦, ?¥UM?¦ stamp certification and registration with NBBI for pressure vessels repair and achieved it;
3. Individually managed boiler projects and successfully completed it;
4. Achieved milestone events as per schedule and got appreciation.
