• Methanol Plant/10000 TPD / Licensor:Haldor Topsoe / EPC:Snamprogetti.

Responsibilities:-

• Preparation of various process deliverables such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD), P&IDs, Process Data Sheets, Instrument Process Data Sheets, Line List, Design Basis Documents, study reports with recommendations for modifications to existing systems, Utility summary, and other Summary Sheets such as Catalyst & Chemicals summary etc.
• Review of P&IDs and Heat & Mass balance sheets
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis, risk analysis & prepare process reports.
• Development of various Technical schemes, pump performances, process calculations, performance review of Equipments, Exchangers, Review of Process Flow Schemes / Piping & Instrumentation Drawings, etc.
• Use of Computer Simulation Software viz. PRO II, Hysys, Pipesim etc. for detailed analysis.

• Usage of Process calculation software involving CV sizing, Flow element sizing, Safety valve and Rupture Disc sizing etc
• Participate in Design Reviews, HAZOP, What if Analysis  and risk assessments as required
