Project Engineer-Electrical

To apply my combined Electrical Engineering experience towards a meaningful and challenging position.

• Project Planning and Engineering
• Selection of process and equipments applying Cemex Technological Infrastructures and low investment criteria to assure high IRR.
• Optimal designs through basic engineering that assures effective operation and expected equipment performance.
• Conduct site study, prepare layouts and cost estimate for each project proposals.
• AUTOCAD Drafting functions
• Prepare basic and working drawings.
• Electrical and Instrumentation
• Perform electrical design, instrumentation application and process analysis while employing the most economical and safe installation as required for the proposed and approved projects that covers from low, medium and high voltage.
• Cost Management and Control
• Control cash flow to ensure all expenses are within the approved budget for each Capex project.
• Conduct technical evaluation and recommendation on the most economical but reliable equipment and design to save on investment.
• Field/Actual Construction Management
• Set up work control system to ensure proper execution of approved plan and design, construction methods, procedures, specification, quality, cost and safety are met in the minimum required construction standard.
• Oversee the construction of Electrical projects which includes Instrumentation Apo Plant and other business units fulfilling the CEMEX Technological Infrastructure Codes and regulations on each country.
• Reporting
• Prepare regular monthly project status and accomplishment to the Plant director and VP Technical and Operations.
• Technical Assistance
• Support other business units in Asia with construction standard, norms for improvement projects, review of investment studies, diagnose and proposed project solutions.
