MECHANICAL MAINTAINANCE TECHNICIAN

Oil & Gas Refinery Mechanical Maintainance all kind of rotary and static equipments over hauling and periodic maintainance jobes

FAMILIARITY IN ROTATING EQUIPMENTS:


1. TURBINES:

Different types of Steam turbines like Back Pressure, Condensing type, Impulse and Reaction ranging from small to medium sizes; various manufacturers like SHIN-NIPPON,WORTHINGTON etc.,


2. PUMPS:

Numerous types and designs of Centrifugal, Reciprocating and Rotary pumps, equipment’s varying from small to large working in low, Medium and high temperature and pressure.(KSBPUMPS, BYRONJACKSON, PACIFIC HIRO PUMPS,
WORTHINGTON, ENVISAL, SIMPSON, NIPPON STEEL etc.,





3. SEALS AND BEARINGS:

Experience in Mechanical seals, assembling of single coil, Multi spring single seals and double seals. (Back to back, Tandem)


Exposure in all types of Bearings, Rolling, Babbit lined, Tilting Pad, Radial and Thrust Bearings. Having knowledge about selection of Bearings.


4. OTHER ROTARY EQUIPMENTS:

Experience in Gearboxes, various types of couplings, capston motor gears, Fin fans, Blowers; Hydraulic motors (Danfoss) for jetty loading arms and hydraulic cylinders.
Verhotf Telescopic ladders and cranes.

STATIC EQUIPMENTS:

Working in static equipments like towers, Strippers, Columns, Crude Distillation unit, Vessels, Chimneys., Carried out various jobs during shutdown such as replacing corroded trays, Down commers, pall rings, Demister pads etc.,


1. VESSELS, SEPARATORS, KNOCK OUT DRUMS, SCRUBBER, and SURGE DRUMS:

Repairing the Damaged parts, Over hauling sight glass system. Replacing passing valves and servicing all kinds of gland packings. Carry out hydro tests.


2. HEAT EXCHANGERS, CONDENSERS, COOLERS, FINFAN COOLERS, HEATERS:


Carry out jobs in shutdown of running units, pulling bundles out, Cleaning, replacing damaged tubes and plugging tubes.

Hydro testing from low to high pressure.

Experience in high pressure Breech- Lock Heat Exchangers.


3. VALVES AND STEAM TRAPS:


Servicing and maintenance of all types of valves, Gate, Globe, Needle valve, Fourway, Ball, Butterfly Valves, Safety and Relief Valves; Nrv’s, Orbit etc.,

Servicing Knowledge of thermostatic and thermodynamic and ball float steam traps.


4. BOILERS:


Maintenance and shutdown experience in oil fired Boilers, Steam, Mud Drum Cleaning, Hydro testing; overhauling of I.D and F.D fans etc.,

I have completed my High school on native place. After completion of high school i have joined vocational training course. N C T V T ( Industrial Training Instution). With first class.

N C T V T and Experience certificate in hand.
