Buyer/Purchaser

•Report to the Purchasing Manager;
•Attend meetings to anticipate forthcoming problems and to overcome the Purchasing problems;
•Negotiate with the International and Local Suppliers, Subcontractors;
•Work with end-users and supervisors regarding insufficient information to provide needed clarification for Purchasing Procedures;
•Develop a Call-Off Agreements (Blanket Orders);
•Consider a Bid Evaluation;
•Approve selected suppliers within delegated approval authority;
•Issue the Purchase Order on the company’s Terms & Conditions basis;
•Attach all outgoing and incoming correspondence to the file;
•Ensure that suppliers meet the scheduled shipment date agreed on the PO;
•Maintain contacts with Finance and Project Controls Departments;
•Ensure that delivered materials meet Company’s and International HSE Policies and Requirement;
•Arrange the back charge and forward the equipment for repair or survey in needed cases;
•Arrange and Coordinate the shipment with the Freight Forwarders: Panalpina World Transport LTD, Bertling Logistics, DHL and etc.;
•Sort Out Non-Conformance delivery with suppliers.
