(December 2004- till date), Plant Electronics, P.B.No. 2058,
Abu Dhabi. U.A.E.
Post held: Electronic Technician.
Job Involve:
COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENTS.
a) Installation, commissioning & maintenance of communication Terminal such as
A) Standard-B Satellite communication Terminal. (NERA CO.)
B) MINI-M satellite communication Terminal (Thrane &Thrane CO.)
C) GSM communication terminal (Tellular).
MODE OF JOB: Design the set-up & configure the communication terminal and
MCU for receiving/sending the E- mail, Fax, Telex, Printer, Telephone& Alarm
as per the GMDSS standard in the various barges/ship’s/boat’s.
b) Installation, commissioning & maintenance of SSB/VHF radio / Aircraft radio/
VHF base station Communication system and Walkie talkies.
MODE OF JOB: Design the set-up & configure the modem and transceiver unit for
Receiving/sending the Telex in the SSB (Sailor program 4000, 2000, and 1000). And
Programming of VHF radio (sailor, Motorola)/VHF walkie talkies (Motorola, Kyodo.),
Commissioning and troubleshooting of aircraft Radio (Becker), VHF base station.
c) Installation, commissioning & maintenance of OKI ODA-7000 series marine telephone
Exchange, Philips SM40 & SQ45 200w + 200w sound management Public address
System with H2S/Fire/HC alarms option.
NAVIGATIONAL EQUIPMENTS:
Installation, commissioning & maintenance of Navigational equipments such As
Gyro compass (SG Brown, Sperry), GPS /DGPS (Koden), UAIS, Navtexreceiver (JRC)
Radar (Bridge master, Furuno), Wind indicator (Naunotani), Echo Sounder (Furuno).
CALIBRATION & TEST EQUIPMENTS
Knowledge and operation of the following equipments such as Communication-
Analyzer(R 2600 series), Spectrum analyzer, Fluke 5500A calibrator, High frequency
CRO (Tektronics, Fluke Combiscope pm 3394B, Lecroy) RF power Meter, Sinad meter,
