I worked on spray research. (Production of sprays with uniform drop size distribution using sound frequency, construction of conical nozzle) I was also involved in different project for industrial company. These projects are in connection with the preparing of an experimental set-up for measuring the velocity and dimension of gas bubbles, droplets and spherical solids using phase Doppler anemometry. Education activity.

Formulation scientist - PLIVA Research Institute Croatia 06/1996 to 09/1999

During this period I worked on several projects. -modeling of a coating process with the purpose of controlling the coating (Developing of the statistical mathematic model for ascorbic acid particle coating) -developing of mesalazine drug for controlled release ( Formulation of mesalazine tablets and development of controlled release coating using combination of Eudragit polymers) -developing of Diclofenak formulation for direct compression -preformulation of organic to water coating (various drugs) During this period I closely cooperated with other parts of R&D department. (Stability, dissolution, packaging department) I also was involved in the production process of tablet production (transfer of technology )for industrial testing of formulations and preformulations. I used different processes in order
to obtain a production of solid dosage: wet and dry granulation, drying, mixing, tableting, coating.

Production engineer - PLIVA Pharmaceutical Co. Croatia 03/1993 to 06/1996

During this period I was engaged in a production plant ( isolation, crystallization and packaging of Ascorbic acid crystals). This included the dissolution of Na-ascorbate, ion-exchange, absorption, filtration, evaporation, crystallization, centrifugation, drying and packaging of crystals as well as controlling the quality of solutions and crystals. Process validation. Application of GMP. Development activities.

Process engineer - Dow-Ina Petrochemical Co. Croatia 09/1990 to 03/1993

During this period I was a process engineer at a high pressure polymerization plant. I was responsible for control of quality of process water, chemical reaction and controlling the quality of our product.(Rheological properties). Experience with mass spectrometry and IR. Experience with implementation of ISO 9002.
