Job Responsibilities Included:
1. Major Overhaul of drilling equipment found on onshore and offshore drilling Rigs. (Example: Draw works, Mud pumps, Rotary tables, Crown and Travelling Blocks, etc...). For different manufacturers (Example: National Oil well, Continental Emesco, Gardner Denver, etc...).
2. On-site fault assessment and maintenance of the equipment mentioned above.
3. Design minor modifications to equipment to cope with function requirements.
4. Solving unexpected and unusual technical problems (e.g. overheating of oil in Top-drive unit, an external cooling unit was designed using an air cooler.).
5. Ordering and receiving of parts for all equipment. For both major maintenance projects and individual overhauls.
6. Manage and evaluate main workshop team and resources to achieve goals of the company.
7. Performing all documentation involved in job. (Example: Job progress reports, Test results and certification, Evaluation of job achievement, etc...).
