Career Summary - Professional career spans 14 years in field of contract and procurement management, strategy formulation (for high spend areas), strategic sourcing and supply chain process reengineering.

My contract and procurement experience comprises of contract management for major capital projects for international oil company, contract management for operation, maintenance and support services for oil production company and procurement of capital equipment for engineering projects with EPC/EPCM project execution companies. These projects were mainly in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Automobile, Steel and Power sector.

In addition to contracts & procurement responsibilities, I have led strategic sourcing initiatives for high spend areas (spare parts management, project engineering, piping bulk materials, production chemicals), reengineering supply chain business processes and establishing e-procurement strategy.

October 1996 – October 2000 Fluor Daniel India Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Fluor Daniel Inc., USA, one of the world’s largest in international engineering, procurement and construction. Joined as procurement engineer and was promoted to Senior Procurement engineer in two years.
