Professional Experience
Built a multi-tank material balance model for HBNS-field in Algeria. The MBAL, Petroleum Expert software was used.
Built the IPR curves using PROSPER, Petroleum Expert software.
Built a GOR and oil rate correlation that allows the calculation of oil rate and GOR at standard condition based on measured oil rate and GOR data obtained from multi-phase flowmeter at given test pressure and temperature. The correlation was tested using cross sectional model on VIP.
Built a one dimensional segment model on VIP to simulate the slim tube experiment in order to calculate the MMP (minimum miscible pressure) using different gas injection.
Tuning an EOS using DESKTOP-PVT by matching different Lab data MCV (Multi-Contact Vaporization), swelling test, separator test, constant composition expansion, and differential liberation expansion.
Built a full field simulation model for RBK field for which the effectiveness of drilling horizontal well has been studied. Where both water and gas flooding development were studied.
Dec2001 join HBN field teem with the following responsibilities: well implantation and planning, field development, production allocation, production optimization and production forecast. The field is being developed by crestal gas injection and peripheral water injection.
Study the effectiveness of drilling horizontal well in the HBNS-16 area located in the HBNS field.
Development and optimization of HBN field under WAG injection.
History matching of pressure, MDT data, build up, and interference test using VIP.
Update the HBN-HBNS model by exporting data from petrel. Good knowledge of petrel procedure in the model construction, fault modeling, grid, horizons and zones.
Update the B404 regional model, make sensitivity study, and update the WAG development plan and schedule based on well hookup and drilling results
Generate VLP curves using PROSPER for the B404 model (HBN, HBNS, HBNSE, and BKNE fields) using dilution water string and gas lift gas. Implemented the VLP curves in VIP model for the B404 model.
Implementation of the surface pipeline network option in VIP for the B404 regional model.
History matching of infield test for HBN field.
