To offer my best of my 18 years experience & skills gained in oil and gas industry.

1999 till to date: Joined Qatar Petroleum/Gas Processing Department I took charge @ NGL Plants in the following Units:
- Acid Gas Removal Unit
- Sulphur Recovery Unit
- Nitrogen Plant
- Extraction Unit
- Fractionation Unit
- Booster Compressors Unit

In 2001, I was involved in the pre-commissioning, commissioning and Start-up
of the NGL-4 Plant designed to meet Q-Chem/Petrochemical feedstock
requirements.

In 2002, I was promoted and assigned to follow up the Environmental
Consultancy Study @ NGL Complex and to assist the Shift Superintendent in
the following:

- Developing and implementing the Gas Processing Department
Emergency & Spillage Contingency Plan.
- Conducting the monthly HSE Inspection Tour, Facility Inspection Tour,
Departmental HSE meeting, issuing the related reports and following up
the corrective actions.
- Preparing & Conducting the monthly Fire and Emergency Drill.
- Preparing/updating & issuing the Quarterly HSE report.
- Involved in Implementing the New Permit To Work System.
- Involved in/following up the Risk Health Assessment Consultancy at NGL Plants.
- Preparing/updating & issuing the Quarterly Environmental Monitoring Report as per State regulations.
- Developing/Implementing the Process Waste Disposal Procedure generated by NGL Plants.
- Developing/Implementing the waste management system for Mesaieed Operation.
- Involved in preparing & submitting the application for Consent To Operate to the Supreme Council For Environment & Natural Reserves (SCENR).




Since 2004, I‘m assigned to coordinate/review/comment/follow up all Studies & Projects related to Environment, as described below, within the Technical Support Division:

- Technical Assessment & Remedial Measures for Gas Combustion Emission
Sources in Mesaieed Operations.
- EPIC for NGL-4 Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
- New Central NGL Laboratory.
- Process Waste Storage Facility for Mesaieed Operation.
- Flare Mitigation Project HSE Plan.
- Cleaning & Overhauling of NGL-3 Effluent Water Treatment Plant.
- Feasibility Study for NGL-1 & 2 Effluent Water Treatment Plant.
- Groundwater Assessment & Monitoring at Mesaieed.

Recently promoted Senior Operator in November 2005 and assigned Department Environmental Focal Point.

Education & Training Background:

1973 – 1980: Secondary School completed with a Baccalaureate in Mathematics & Technology.

1981 – 1983: University of Tunis completed with a Diploma in Mathematics & Physics Sciences.

1984 – 1986: Oil & Gas Petroleum studies in Algerian Petroleum Institute achieved with High
National Diploma in Drilling, Production, Treatment & Storage.

1995 – 1998: Achieved Environmental Studies (Air & Water Quality/Sustainable Development) in
Technology’s University of Berlin along with related trainings in German
Companies. Completed with an Industrial Environment Protection Diploma.
