A challinging carreir in the environmental related fields

• Air pollution Management.
- Collecting data related to the air pollution (Fuel type, amount, Conc---etc) from industrial establishments and pollutants at the working environment.
- Data evaluation and calculations to the load contributed by such activities along the ambient environment.
- Recommended actions are taken to minimize the pollution load in the region studied.
- Participating in the measuring and monitoring activities done by our air pollution lab for all sources and types of all air pollutants.
• Solid waste management
- Reviewing “ONYX operational protocol in Alexandria Governorate “, 1ST Edition 1999 – 2000.
- Supervising the construction and operational activities of the solid waste landfill in Alexandria (ONYX) and reporting on a regular basis.
• Hazardous Waste Management
- Supervising the establishment activities of a hazardous waste landfill in Alexandria and preparation of reports on a regular basis.
- Participated in several activities in collaboration with the Hazardous Waste Management Unit aiming at collecting data on hazardous waste produced by the industrial sector in Alexandria.

• Water pollution management
- Collecting data related to the surface water pollution (Flow Rate, Conc., process descriptions ---etc) from industrial establishments.
- Data evaluation and calculations to the load contributed by such activities along the water receptors (Sea, canals, river Nile).
- Participating in the measuring and monitoring activities done by our Water pollution lab for all sources and types of all water pollutants.

• • Industrial Auditing and Inspection
- Leaded several audits and inspections on the different industrial facilities in Alexandria and Beheira as well as Borg El-Arab Industrial City.
- Reviewed and commented the industrial inspectors manuals prepared by Environics for the EEAA.
- Participation in the Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (PRTRs) project for large-scale industries focusing on the chemical industry in Alexandria Governorate. The project was aiming at responding to increasing demanding for the control of potentially harmful releases or transfer to air, water, and soil as well as waste transported offsite for treatment or disposal. West Delta RBO, UNEP/MAP and UNIDO were the project’s counterparts.

• Training course and diploma in “Urban Solid Waste Management” held in Japan, organized by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) from 6/8/2001 to 4/11/2001.
