Seeking a position in HSE Management of a Ship Owning/ Management Company, utilizing 8 years of experience in developing, implementing and managing Safety Management System for Offshore Support Vessels & Tug boats.

(A) HSE Manager, DPA & CSO (Sept 04 – Present)
Inter Gulf Marine LLC, Dubai, UAE(Ship owning - 8 Offshore Support V/ls) 1.Reporting to GM(senior most Mgmt),In-charge for Safety & Security Mgmt;2.Managed to complete Company’s first External Safety Mgmt Audit to obtain DOC cert for the Company;3.In 8 months implemented SMS on all Company ships & got them ISM certified by ABS;4.Reduced Training Costs by providing in-house training to staff;5.Developed filing system for SMS;6.Conduct SMS audits & accident investigation;7.Successfully completed Company’s first annual ISM Office audit without getting even one minor NC;8.Developed and implemented Company’s first PMS on all the ships;9.Establish HSE Performance standards and monitoring for compliance;10.Advise Ship safety & security officers on safety drills/trainings;11.Assure contractual compliance with QHSE portion of contracts awarded by Oil companies like ADMA-OPCO,QP etc;12.Implemented Security Mgmt system (ISPS code) on v/ls & got them certified by ABS;13.Got the Company Pre-qualified as Contractor for Oil Companies like NPCC, Bunduq etc.

Essar Shipping Ltd.(Offshore Div),Mumbai,India(One of the biggest private ship owning company in India)
1.Reporting to Senior Tech Suptd, responsible for Tech and Safety Mgmt of 3 OSVs;2.Involved in the development of Company’s SMS Manual and PMS ;3.Implemented Company’s SMS on ships & shore office in 2002 to meet ISM compliance deadline of 01/07/02 for other Cargo v/l;4.Prepared Annual Budgets for the v/ls;5.Successfully executed major revamping of all v/ls;6.Was the contact person for liaison with v/l Charterers (ONGC)for day-to-day operations.
(C) Manager, Tech (Oct 98 – Dec 99)
Essar Steel Ltd. (Shipping Div) Hazira, India (Owns 11 MBCs, 10 Tugs and 2 Floating Cranes)1.Reporting to Deputy GM, responsible for tech & Safety Mgmt of the whole fleet;2.Planned & executed dd repairs, surveys and attending v/l in dry-dock at ABG Shipyard,INDIA;3.Successfully executed Change of flag rqmts for 11 MBCs from Vanuatu to Indian;4.Monitored Class Survey status of the fleet & arranged surveys.
