• Working as Electrical Engineer ( Electrical Maintenance Supervisor) duties includes Operation, Preventive, break down maintenance and trouble shooting of various kinds of High Voltage and Low Voltage Motor Control Center equipment's such as 6.6KV Alstom Vacuum circuit breakers, SF6 CB. And transformers, 3.3KV Toshiba Vacuum Circuit breakers and motors up to 1250HP and 4 MW ABB motors. Low voltage equipments and motor controls such as Klokner Moller, Westing House, Telemechanic. Operation and synchronizing of 3.3 KV solar Turbines and 380V, 500KVA Caterpillar generator sets. Troubleshooting and maintenance of various Motor Operated Valves, maintenance of various lead acid and alkaline batteries and chargers including UPS. Installation and maintenance of Heat tracing. Handling of various kinds of electrical testing equipments and experience to work in hazards area with Permit to Work system and Electrical Safety Rules of AFPC.
• Provides technical Support to identifying and rectifying problems related to electrical systems and equipment.
• I have solid experience in maintenance/repair works of field electrical equipment and installations, scheduled plant shutdowns, emergency breakdowns, plant modifications, production/process /accommodation plants.
• Evaluates against Work Orders/Service, contractors’/suppliers’ bids, as AFPC regulations. excluding Installation job.
• Reviews with Site Engineers, Planning Engineers and other Operating and Support Division’s Engineers the maintenance activities and programs of all electrical equipments(we call this 14 days plan discussion meeting).
• Supervising implementation of planned maintenance activities and routine/ non-routine maintenance works.
• Ensures availability of all required materials/spares for the job.
• Ensures maintaining/updating of job records files at all active anti completed projects.
• Support and Participates in the on-job training and development of assigned national
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and practices.
• Fully comply with Permit to work system and ensure the company standard is being achieved and maintained.
• Check maintenance work instructions and work order history for validity of content, resources and man-hours.
