Construction Manager - Oil & Gas Projects

I'm looking for a suitable construction job in the oil & gas field in North Africa, West Africa, or Middle East.

Degree educated (B. Sc., ME), having 23 years oil and gas construction experience in the management, and tendering of construction engineering, planning, fabrication & assembly, heavy lift, heavy hauling, loadout and sea fastening for (1) offshore projects (jackets, decks & top sides, process piping, risers, bridges, boatlandings, drilling templates, FPSO top sides, etc.), (2) marine vessel upgrading, dry docking, and repairs (barges, drilling rigs, and tug boats), (3) onshore oil & gas Projects (processing / chemical plants).

I have worked for many prestigious construction companies [e.g. Technip Offshore, Saipem, Stolt (ETPM), McDermott, and OPI]. My duties include: Review the work prepared by the various engineering disciplines in the preparation of estimates for all phases of bids, from engineering, fabrication, through to hook-up and commissioning. Overview the completeness of job information and ensure that work procedures conform to accepted Client Specifications, Industry Codes & Standards, and Recommended Practices.

I'm a computer literate, working very good with MS Office, MS Projects, AutoCAD.

1) Project planning & progress measurements and progress monitoring.
2) Preparation of detailed shop fabrication AutoCAD drawings.
3) Preparation of fabrication sequence AutoCAD drawings in accordance with yard space / rigging gear availability.
4) Preparation of loadout procedures, AutoCAD loadout scheme drawings, barge ballasting, etc. This includes both skidding, and multi-wheel platform loadout methods.
5) Issuing of Change Request to Clients. This including -but not limited to- welding sequences, material substitutions, special procedures (lifting gear and lifting eye design, window cuts, etc.).
6) Preparation of fabrication, painting, rigging, and loadout.
7) Familiar with welding processes, techniques, technologies, and preparation of structural & process piping welding procedure specifications for carbon steel and special material (stainless, CuNi, etc.).
