Begin my career with International Refinery Services as an NDT Inspector and rising through the ranks to take on more challenging positions as an API 653 Inspector. As an Inspection Superintendent, I am tasked to oversee the inspection department for local as well as overseas project and liaising with the clients on technical matters as well as scheduling of resources. Ensure smooth execution of projects and quality of Inspection report. Projects involved are such as Tank/pipeline Inspection and repair supervision within the region. QA/QC of Tank Construction for PT Caltex pacific indonesia. In the year 2000, I was task to set up the Malaysia Branch. This involved General Management of the day to day operations of IRS Malaysia (Miri) office including liasing with customers and vendors pertaining to commercial and technical issues. Prepare yearly operational budget. Prepare proposals, tenders and quotations. Prospecting for new business opportunities, project management and field supervision of inspectors on specialized inspection techniques such as Long Range Ultrasonic Testing as well as Tank inspection and QA/QC for tank refurbishment. In the year 2004,I was tasked to Head a new division in the Head office setup to spearhead the company aim of being one of the leading specialised inspection company. I am also required to keep abreast of technological changes within the inspection industry. Currently I am the manager for contracts and operations and is responsible for the contracts evaluation and preparation as well as the operational capability of the group stretching from SEA to middle east.I am still involved in field work as part of my secondary duties in ensuring all project execution is in line with the company procedures.
