Professional Experience

January 2001 to present:

Senior HSE Advisor / Safety Officer for Saipem SpA (major contractor in offshore construction), onboard several vessels of Saipem’s fleet. Experienced in heavy lifting (platforms installations/decommissioning, modules installation/removal, bridges and flair installation etc.), pipeline construction (J and S system) and plant hook-up and commissioning.
My main roles and responsibilities are: site HSE Manager during the projects, provide safety advice, safety training to management and workforce; HSE investigations, inspections and audit, chair safety meetings and report direct to Company HSE Manager.
Major clients I work with are: Statoil, Norsk Hydro, BP, Exxon, Totalfina, Exxon, Pemex, Chevron, Agip etc., work locations being spreaded worldwide (Norway, Denmark, UK, Mexico, Thailand, West & North Africa, etc.)

May 1999 to December 2000

Area Manager for Euromedia (major Romanian outdoor advertising operator), I was responsible for developing safety procedures for working at height and rope access and monitoring the subcontractor’s activity and safety performance.
