Petroleum Operations Engineer

Coordinate and liase with different disciplines in the oil industry

I am a Venezuelan Petroleum Engineer graduated in the United States with ample experience in the oil industry: I have performed as Exploitation Petroleum Operations Reservoir Engineer for heavy and light oil lake and onshore in Venezuela, heavy oil reservoir steam injection and combustion projects, new completions, workover programs and follow-up, reservoir production operations. Ran electric logs for a logging service company, well logs interpretation and well gun perforating. Performed as contractor´s controller and supervised service companies performance. Anchor and side-barge mobilisation. Performed in environmental impact assessment studies and field audits and environmental project descriptions. Environmental engineering work teams co-ordinator. Processing experience in Orimulsion TM, motor gasoline blending, sulphur by-products, vessels design, etc. Operations and maintenance (O/M) start up plant manuals; translations of documents, collation and release of versions. Facilities included production, processing, compression, water treatment and utilities, mainly new technologies as per LASMO required new project in Venezuela: hydrocarbon separation processes, filtering and hydrocyclones; creation of team users libraries. Liase with other disciplines: compression, commissioning, safety, mechanical, civil, instrumentation, process and utilities. Updating drawings. Review and correction of developed documents and diagrams before issued for operations. O/M new engineers trainer. Fluent English. Technical report writing. Will accept relocation and travel; have worked with multinational teams and traveled around the world. All in one.
