Responsibilities
+ To provide advice on applicable standards to the project team and the Work Contractor.
+ Management of adequacy for subcontractors & site staff. Evaluate reports for progress, manpower, mobilization of construction activities.
+ To work with planning department on scheduling of certification of systems, and sub systems.
+ To establish and witness all identified inspection hold points in relation to the installation and site testing of mechanical, rotating and structural materials and equipment.
+ To ensure that equipment and materials are inspected on arrival at site and prior to final closure as appropriate.
+ Review inspection and test procedures and reports.
+ To follow up completion/close out of punch list items for mechanical completion
+ To ensure management of change items are also tracked & closed out as required.
+ Perform regular HSE inspections ensuring safe construction & commissioning activities
+ After installation of the system physical walk through the line/ system is made and check for line as per PFD and punch points are made. Preparing as built drawings for P & ID
+ Participate in system punch listing as per the interface program & categorizing the activity weight age like closing of the points before hydro-test or after hydro-test or before commissioning or before RFSU (ready for start up) or during or after start up and handover inspections liaising with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning departments. After completing the above permission for hydro-test is issued.
