JAN 05 TO NOV 06: I worked as drilling company man in waha oil company for consulting firm based in uk (FIELD – GEALO 59 E)

NOV 98 To JAN 05: Worked as drilling super intendant in Hassi R’mel Gas field Sonatrach with heavy Drilling Programs. I followed four drilling rigs activities. Resolved daily drilling problems and assisted supervisors.
Provide any equipment rigs needs and also assisted at several special operations as fishing, cementations, DST and completions.

NOV 94– NOV 98: Senior Drilling Supervisor on a Gas field in Middle South of Algeria in “In Salah gas project” within Sonatrach & BP association.
Using DIMS for daily drilling reports. Action review after every section, and post well review involving all actors to rise up all faced problems during the well implementation as lessons learned for the coming wells and a daily Morning Meeting with all contractors and third party hands.

Familiar with Technical limit, Cost & Time tracker, Seven days Look ahead, Load out List and other Engineering working procedures.
Attended Completion operations, wire line, well testing too, and many moving Operations with complete Mast transportation and sectioned one.
Aug 87 – NOV 94: Began as Drilling Engineer with Sonatrach (SH) .After one year proficiency courses and training with Sonatrach-Total Association for a Drilling Supervisor recycling coached by experienced people and supervised by Total training team; started working as night Supervisor.
Worked in multiple oil and gas fields, shallow and deep ones up to 4000 m with high temperature, in south Algerian Sahara.
Faced and assisted to a huge range of problems during this short term in my drilling life like stuck pipe, Fishing Operations, Mud Losses, Hole Stability problems with caving and sloughing shale, Drilling String failure, wire line problems, well controls sequences, side tracks with cement plug or whipstock, well testing with Conventional Tester, MFE, well temporarily abandon ,… and so on.

In parallel I attended lots of seminaries and forums with International companies based in Algeria on multiple items seems ,Cementation ,logging fishing equipment and BOT liners , PDC & Rock bits…etc.

JUNE 1982: Electrotechnic Baccalaureate.

February 06: Pass the IWCF Well Control Exam.

21ST – 25H JUNE 04: Completed the Drill String and Failure Prevention (Drilling Training Alliance Centre Chevron Texaco-BP) Weatherford Training School, Dyce Aberdeen UK.


March 03: Pass the IWCF Well Control Exam.

2001: Completed the Vehicle Awareness and Safety Training Course phase 1, VAST (03 days).
On 97: Completed the BOT Liner Hanger Seminar (01 week).

FEB 92 – JUN 96: Completed some courses about Mud ,Rheology & Products, Mud logging cabins .e.g. Datalog, Geoservice, & Halliburton cabins, Geology, Communication Techniques BOT Liner Hanger, Well plan, DIMS, Directional Drilling.

Aug 87 – Sep 88: Proficiency Training and course with Sonatrach-Total Group for Drilling supervisor about drilling , drilling fluids ,cement jobs, well control , drilling calculations , logs interpretations ,geology ..

I am 44 yrs old with Over 20 years of experience in drilling operations including Deep, Horizontal/Multilateral/Slim hole drilling. Presently I work as Drilling supervisor (company man) with GNPOC SUDAN in their deep exploratory rig.
My strength: Adaptability to circumstance and rising to the occasion.
