2001- ongoing : Q-Chem, Doha, Qatar as Senior Buyer responsible for procurement of chemicals, raw materials and other equipment / operational materials.Responsibilities include preparation of bid packages and pre-Qualification documents, bid evaluation, contract award and administration and project reports. Q-Chem plant is a petrochemical joint venture between Chevron Philips and Qatar Petroleum.

1996 - 2001 : Purchasing Specialist in Yanpet (Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia) as Lead Buyer for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials and other project equipment. Additional responsibilities included Turnaround Coordinator and Delegated Purchasing Supervisor. Yanpet is a petrochemical joint venture between Exxon-Mobil and SABIC.

1987 - 1996 : Senior Materials Officer in Engineering & Projects Division of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Bombay, India. Supervisory level experience in procurement, contract administration and logistics activities in an integrated materials management environment. Bharat Petroleum is an oil major with refining and marketing facilities all over India.

I am a Mechanical Engineer with post-graduation in MBA(Finance).

I have profound knowledge and more than 18 years of procurement expertise in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry. My association with three world scale premier organizations - Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Bombay, Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Co. (Yanpet), Saudi Arabia and Q-Chem in Qatar - has helped me to inculcate and emulate a high degree of professionalism and job skills. This wide spectrum of jobs and conditions has enriched my job knowledge and systems approach to a large extent.
