Professional Experience
My strength is in drilling and in particular, management of drilling rigs and services. I am currently working as a consultant drilling supervisor for Agip / ENI group offshore Egypt. My experience covers an excess of twenty five years managing drilling and workover operations worldwide handling the management of onshore and offshore rigs in the North Sea, Africa, Middle East and Caspian Sea. Responsible for all forms of drilling including wildcat, multi-lateral, ERD, deviated, horizontal, H2S and deep gas wells. Rig experience includes automated, semi-automated, top-drive rigs, and deep-drilling rigs. I have additional experience in shipyard rig construction, start-up and commissioning projects. Directed & participated in innovation studies & technical support groups. My experience covers working in a foreign / multinational oil company’s and remote onshore & offshore operations. Good experience in pressured mud-cap drilling onshore / offshore. Good experience with safety management systems & a thorough understanding of HSE procedures, including SIMOPS operations. As it is my mother-tongue, I have excellent English skills in reading, writing & communications. Secondary languages include Arabic and some Portuguese. Eductation
Supervise drilling activities & other rig operations. Day to day planning on Site and maintain maximum HSE and operational efficiency. Implement company’s policies, procedures & guidelines on drilling operations, safety and environmental protection. Ensure full wellsite compliance, and approves non-routine hazardous work from the drilling contractor. Input & verifies accuracy of daily drilling reports, daily cost reporting & contributes documentation of non standards operations and events. Review of rig HSE systems by inspection and audit.

Working on an offshore jack-up in the Mediterranean Sea.
Deviated gas wells are on mono-platforms and work is carried out under SIMOPS conditions. Responsible for:
• Daily drilling and workover operations
• Planning and execution of offshore wells for Agip’s deep gas drilling project in zero discharge environment.
Jan 2002 – Jun 2005 Consultant drilling & completions supervisor, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia
Worked on a range of desert drilling land rigs. Wells were in excess of 20,000’ft with H2S presence. SAP (Landmark) reporting & ordering system. Responsible for:
• Daily drilling operations
• Planning and execution of onshore wells for Aramco’s deep gas drilling project.
• Dual horizontal wells with open-hole slotted liner completions
• Mud weight up to 20 ppg with HPHT in pay zones.
