Learning and Development officer
ƒ? As a Learning and Development Officer I work in a structured and methodical way.
ƒ? I implement the HR system practices , policies and procedures.
ƒ? Maintain database of training records.
ƒ? Produce weekly and monthly training report.
ƒ? Track and report on monthly training spend to individual dept.
ƒ? I develop and plan milestone for delivery.
ƒ? I ensure compliance to milestone.
ƒ? I input into staff retention and exit formalities.
ƒ? Counseling for staff and providing services that minimize conflict.
ƒ? Promote a healthy working environment and improve industrial and employee relations.
ƒ? Documentation and all other formalities for staff.
ƒ? Mentoring for staff and implementing appropriate solutions and interventions.

ƒ? Negotiate with third party supplier to ensure cost effective solution.
ƒ? Track the delivery of milestones and address any deviation from them.
ƒ? Compile and report statistics both monthly and quarterly.
ƒ? Ensure compliance to specification and action any non compliance.
ƒ? Plan and organize the delivery of training interventions in line with training polices and plans.
ƒ? Provide logistics support for training programs within MTN.
ƒ? Collate training needs and develop training plans and procedures.
ƒ? Source relevant local and international training programmes to meet training needs.
ƒ? Prepare training cost schedules.
ƒ? Record training information to provide an audit trail for training events throughout the organization.
ƒ? Administer training evaluation on participants and collate reports.
ƒ? Answer queries on training related issues.
