Responsibilities:
·Looking after ISO 14001 implementation of the Refinery and Projects
·Environmental Incident investigation and reporting of the same to higher management.
·Dealing with regulatory issues related to environment.
·Preparing checklist for environmental audits and waste management system.
·Preparation of monthly/Quarterly and Balance Score Card report.
·Preparation of environmental guidelines during shutdown/startup of the units.
·Faculty assistance for ISO 14001 and Environmental awareness training.
·Operation of Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Trailer.
·Solid waste management for the waste generated from refinery.
·Attending meetings of the units/departments to raise environmental concern.
·Visiting the site in case of occurrence of any environmental emergency/shutdown.
·Inspecting the conditions of oil spill response equipments managed by operating units
·Review of documents/manuals and give environment related opinion on it.
