Mar 2005 – Present – Technical IT Project Manager – OFS Portal - Houston, Tx

• Project managing connectivity of member company ERP systems to buyer ERP systems using RNIF 2.0 and AS2 connectors and industry standard data formats via third party hub-based routing
• Creating standardised template project plans and information capture documents for business rules analysis, mapping specifications, connectivity, testing and deployment.
• Project managed 3 month, 200K upgrade of corporate website from legacy system to MS standard components, saving 25% of budget with re-architecture and improved failover design

Ongoing projects also include specification, design and implementation of a timesheet system for tracking hours assigned to various product lines, upgrade and consolidation of the communication room hardware and servers, , and content management deployment and support duties for new portal.

Aug 2002 – Mar 2005 - IT Project Manager – Landmark Graphics - Houston, Tx

• Working closely with the business to meet corporate timeframes and avoid product release dates, project managed multiple Windows and Exchange migration projects to consolidate legacy multiple environments into a single domain, reducing hardware, software license and support costs and improving customer response, redundancy and client management, without impacting product delivery and earning regular positive feedback from all product lines.
• Designed, deployed and administered global, roles-based security model for Active Directory.

Via the introduction of a customer-orientated, proactive project planning and reporting approach, designed, configured, deployed and migrated 2000+ customers to a Windows 2003 Active Directory and Exchange 2003 environment from a mixed WinNT, Windows 2003 four domain structure. Benefits include increased environment redundancy and improved performance, documented and enforced design rule set and improved monitoring and reporting facilities.
