Employed as Mechanical Engineer (Coordinator for fuel oil tank erection & associated piping work) for M/S Siemens AG PG, Abu Dhabi, UAE for the power plant project “ Taweelah New B Extension”
Siemens in Consortium with Fisia Italimpianti, doing the turnkey project for the erection of a Combined Cycle Power Plant Station at Al Taweelah for TAPCO. It includes the erection of Fuel oil storage tanks
Coordination with contractors for all site activities for the construction of fuel storage tanks & related piping including mechanical equipments.
Planning and scheduling of works according to the project requirements.
Attending weekly meeting with client as well as sub contractors and documentation.
Ensuring the work progresses according to API 650 and approved drawings.
Responsible for arranging the day-to-day needs like crane, revised drawings according to site requirements as well as contract agreements.
Carrying out the required inspections along with client representatives as per FQP

Employed as QA/QC Engineer for M/S A.P.C.C (Al Dafrah Pipeline Contracting Co.) WLL, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
A.P.C.C is one of the main contractors of Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) for the project “construction of flow line and wellhead installations” in Habshan and Bu-Hasa oil fields. Work activities include right-of-way preparation, stringing, excavation, pipe laying & welding, pipe tie-ins, cold cutting, hydro testing, air pigging, holiday testing, etc.
Responsible for welding activities and other quality requirements according to ADCO specifications and specified standards (API 1104, ASME 31.3)
Verify that welding procedures are as specified and are qualified
Interpret drawings and other documents for the execution of work and overall supervision and documentation.
Monitoring NDT activities
Inspection of all construction materials
Grit blasting and painting inspection
Coordinate with the client to carry out inspection according to ITP and getting their acceptance.
Hydro testing and final documentation.
November 2004 to February 2005
Worked with M/S TPS Builders, Cochin as Asst. Quality Control Engineer. The company was doing the shut down project of LPG storage tank & related pipeline facilities for Kochin Refineries.
