SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION :

1.Perform concurrent duties of a CAD Supervisor/project manager which involve the management of several Aramco and non Aramco projects in close coordination with the client and/or his representatives.
2.Involve in marketing and proposals for new projects.
3.Coordinate and supervise all CADD works pertaining to clients’ standards, office standards and all drafting standards and ensure efficiency, productivity and quality of works by the staff based on the Design Criteria Report.
4.Quality checks and monitoring of all project hard copies and electronic files to ensure conformity with the standards.
5.Training of new employees and updating current employees on every new technology development.
6.General CADD design and drafting works, estimating, inter disciplines coordination, QA/QC, reproduction and submittals.
7.Monitoring and updating of all servers which include the removal of garbage files and the back-up of all project files in CD’s, Tape-ware and Colorado Back-up software.
8Handling the Tree Arcserver Ver. 5 & 6. Systematic storing and control of all old and new project files
9.Scanning software both for production and training including Raster conversion programming in Auto Lisp, working out raster files, creating hybrid and vector drawings, digitizing and trouble shooting.
10.Training and staff awareness including the Customization and configuration of Autodesk programs like AUTOCAD R12, R13, R14, 2000, 2004 & 2005, MICROSTATION 95, SE, J & V8, IRASB version 6 & 7.
11.Training and staff awareness on Windows 95, 98, 2000 & XP environment and Microsoft office applications including the LAN and Net Administration.
12.Manage CAD systems and standards; develop CAD training programs; chair CAD User Group meetings; research and evaluate software upgrades; and work with engineering teams on setting up engineering projects.
