Practical Experiences
1.FFC (Fauji Fertilizer Company Ltd.)
At the moment I am doing job now in FFC-3 maintenance department here my job responsibilities are to manage the maintenance activities by making daily and weekly job plans and implementing those in area here I am in Urea section. I have to maintain the inventory control for normal days and for shutdown/turnaround activities. I have conducted two shutdowns. Here I am dealing equipment and machinery maintenance, structural designing, piping, fabrication etc.
2.AESL (Allied Engineering & Services Ltd.)Caterpillar CAT Lahore
AESL is an engineering services company dealing with caterpillar in Pakistan. CAT’s heavy machinery and engines (HFO, Diesel and Gas Engines). Firstly I worked in AESL workshop on Gas Engines and then I worked in service department as a field service engineer so I was mostly concerned with 3500 series of gas engines. There my job responsibilities were erection & commissioning, schedule and preventive maintenance and any kind of troubleshooting of engines. I was also working there with Caterpillar software ET Electronic Technician for trouble shootings and adjustments of parameters.
I joined GPL (Genertech Pakistan Ltd.) as Trainee Mechanical Engineer in maintenance Department as a representative of AESL since 16/08/2003 to 01/01/2004.It has a 26.5 MW electric generation capacity and situated in Phoolnagar near Lahore. I have worked personally on Niigata Diesel Engines 5 X 16V32CLX also on auxiliaries Compressors, Purifiers, Strainers, Pumps, Boiler, Fabrication, Injectors, Ventilation system of Power plant. During that I have conducted two major overhaulings improving my practical skills with a good experience of intellectual management.
•I have commissioned first 3520C X 2 in Pakistan in Amin Textile.I have worked here with TERBERG’s Engineer Mr.Frank.
•I have commissioned 4xG3520B,20XG3516B,4XG3516A.
•Also carried out CD Kit Conversion of 8XG3516B.
•I have attended Training of G3500 B/C held in Allied Engg. LHR by CAT Instructor Mr. Victor Groff.
