Sr Instrument and Control Engineer

Lead “Instrument Engineering and Design” team across multiple locations for FEED, Detailed Engineering, Proposals, Pre-bid engineering, Procurement, Inspection, Project execution and Commissioning in both green field & brown field projects.

At present working as Sr I&C Engineer in ADNOC under PMC team.
A competent I&C and Telecom professional with over 30 years of experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering,
Project Execution, Commissioning and PMC services in the field of Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Complex.
Worked for various major Oil & Gas projects with following clients:
• ADNOC Group of companies (GASCO, ADMA-Offshore, ADCO-Onshore, Takreer) in UAE.
• Qatar Gas, Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Qatar Petrochemicals (QAPCO) in Qatar.
• EIL (Engineers India Ltd), Reliance-IPCL-Gandhar Complex, ONGC-Hazira and GAIL-Pata in India.
• ASORC Refinery (Assiut Oil Refining Company) in Egypt.
Since March 2020 Working as Sr. I&C and Telecom Engineer in PMC Team for various ADNOC’s major projects.
While working in Engineering Consultant, Lead I&C and Telecom team for the FEED, Detail Engineering, EPC
support, Project execution, and Commissioning activities for the green field & brown field projects.
22 Years’ experience in various Oil & Gas projects in Gulf region (UAE, Qatar).
Detailed engineering and commissioning support for the
Oil & Gas projects (Onshore & Offshore), Petrochemicals, Power generation, Jetty Terminals, General Utility (Waste Water treatment, N2 etc.) and Infrastructure projects (Water distribution and metering) in Gulf Region (Qatar, UAE and Iraq) and India.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Instrumentation team for design and engineering of various projects and assign jobs to each team member for quality of work within agreed and planned time frame.
Close co-ordination with Project Manager/Engineering Manager and Clients. This includes Inter-disciplinary co-ordination and Project completion planning, progress monitoring and reporting.

A competent and dynamic Instrumentation & Process Control Systems professional, with over 25+ years of experience in Engineering, Project Execution and Project Management.
My experience in Instrumentation design includes following.
Review Instrumentation-Basis of design, Control philosophy and detailed integration with other discipline key project deliverables.
Review and suggest Control System configuration for new projects as well as integration with existing ICSS, SCMS, SCADA and third party packages. This includes review ICSS-MAC Proposals from various system vendor and support EPC for right technology based on project requirement.
Review Instrument Specification and Data sheet including right selection for project applications mainly Control System (DCS, ESD and F&G system), HIPPS, Control Valve On/Off-Shutdown, Custody transfer meter-Crude Oil & LPG, Leak Detection System, Pressure/Level/Flow/Temperature Transmitters, MOV, Choke Valve, SSV, Safety Relief Valves, Vibration Monitoring system, Fire and Gas Detectors, Fire alarm control panel etc.
Participation and contribution in Client Design/Technical review meetings such as HAZOP, SIL and constructability reviews etc.
Exposure to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511-Functional Safety Standards. Understand and implement right Codes & Standards like ISO, ISA, IEC, API, ASME, SHELL DEPs & other international Standards.
