Under subcontract from a reputed Industrial safety Consultant based at the Oil Fields Supply Centre, Jafza,Dubai

Job Profile : Reporting directly to the Total site Manager and co-coordinating with the HSE supervisor, the job includes supervising of all the lifts on site, conducting of training programmes on lifting/handling and general safety awareness,co-rdinating with the HSE for training programmes on various other subjects (Fire fighting, confined space entry, risk assessment, H2S etc.), monitoring activities on site and identifying the necessity of providing training to the personal involved in various jobs and according to site requirements, Preparing deviation reports on finding non-conformities on site and taking necessary steps for improvement. The job also includes conducting of Tool box meetings binding on the Basic permit to work (Hot/Cold) thereby identifying the various hazards when working on high pressure lines and other Hot working areas, to conduct general safety assessment of the subcontractors on site and evaluate their compliance with the standards.

Job Profile Testing and certifying Engineer

Inspection and certification of various lifting equipments related to the construction and oil industry which includes all kinds of cranes (tower, mobile, overhead, and crawler) and offshore cranes on rig platforms, construction hoists, suspended working platforms, forklifts etc.

Inspection and certification of various structures on rig platforms like the BOP hoists, davits, Beam trolleys, Pad eyes and different kinds of winches etc. and all kinds of loose lifting gears.

Trainer
Conduct training programmes in various organizations in the oil/gas and construction industry on:

Basic industrial safety
Basic slinging and rigging
Safe use of overhead cranes
Safe use of tower cranes
Safe use of mobile cranes
