DEAR SIR,

I have sailed on various crude, product oil tankers including VLCC for 14 years till master. During my sailing career I have attended and prepared the vessels for all major vetting inspection. I have good knowledge of OCIMF VIQ and ISM code. I have valid master mariner (F.G) license from U.K. I have good knowledge of computers. I am attaching my c.v along.

Since October 2003 I am Serving as Marine Co-ordinator with FUJAIRAH REFINERY COMPANY LTD (U.A.E.). As a Marine Co-ordinator tasks associated are those with duties of a Loading Master/Safety Officer & liasing with refinery’s tank farm including supplying of cargo documents to tanker vessel loading or discharging at the terminal various oil products.

While serving as Marine Co-ordinator in addition to Loading Master I was given the task to put together a new ‘Marine Operations’ department, such that to restructure operations in order to minimise Marine Operation’s costs and improve upon the existing procedures so as to streamline operations. Further, to identify main tasks & improve operating procedures including maintenance of terminal’s various items in order to achieve effective results.
Other tasks include maintaining refinery’s terminal with in Port Limits visited by Oil tankers up to DWT of 100,000 Metric Tonnes. Maintenance tasks include underwater inspection and maintenance of floating barges, mooring buoys, floating pipelines, Oil booms and maintaining of valves and other cargo operations.

In addition to liase and achieve agreements on various issues connected with Marine operations with the port authorities, contractors, shipping agents & surveying authorities.
